The LDA’s Personal Best scheme was a recruitment and personal development programme set up to help 20,000 Londoners learn new skills ahead of the 2012 London Olympic Games. The challenge was set for Londoners with little or no qualifications to believe in themselves and achieve their personal goals, through hands-on learning experience.
The scheme allowed participants to gain important qualifications with many going on to take an active role in the 2012 games as, ‘Games Makers’.
